Thanksgiving in Tenessee

This year we celebrated thanksgiving near Johnson City, TN with the Schnyders. The weather was gorgeous and we had so much fun.

While some were watching the Turkey fry, Deacon enjoyed a bike ride.

The deep fried turkey was delicious, so juicy and tasteful.

Some friends of Scott and Christina's graciously let us stay in their house while they were out of town. It was ample space and the perfect set up, as they have a child also.

A stroll around Milligan campus.

Friday morning we did a little hiking. Even though everything is brown, it was still a pretty hike. We did come within about 50 feet of a baby black bear, we quickly turned around and took a different route down the mountain.

On Sunday night we stayed in a hotel, Zoe managed to go swimming three times the 18 hours we were there.

Thank you Scott and Christina for being fabulous hosts, it was such a wonderful weekend.
