I don't know what to title this.

Sorry for the delay in this post. I was waiting in hopes I could write about a new job, but no such luck. But I will get to that later, there are more interesting things to write about first:)
Saturday we went to Cedar Point(cedarpoint.com), the roller coaster capitol of the world! It is about 100 miles from here in Sandusky OH. It was a SAC event, so Tony got in free as a chaperon and I got in for half price, so we couldn't resist this opportunity. They have many incredible coasters, my favorite was the Top Thrill Dragster, it launches you at 120 mph and you go staight up 400 ft and then straight back down. The ride only last 17 seconds and we waited about on hour to ride it, but it was soooo worth it:) We were at the park for a good 8 hours and I loved every minute of it, Tony not so much. Tony doesn't really like rides so he volunteered to watch Zoe while I went on ride, but Zoe was not such a fan of all the noise and was quite crabby for her father. Tony left the park with a much bigger headache than any of us that rode the ride. Thanks Hunny!Kat and Dave were my riding partners for the day, we had so much fun!

I don't think I had written about our church out here yet. We have been attending Akron Christian Reformed Church. It is about a 30 minute drive for us, but we really love the church. It is also where Scott and Christina have been attending. This Sunday, next and all of January I am the pre-school worship leader (children's church) This past Sunday I only had 2 boys, but we had a good time learning about when God made all the animals. ACRC does not have an evening worship service, so instead we are meeting with all the ACRC members from Canton. This has been happening for many year and we are the new ones to the group. I think it will be a challenging and rewarding experience all around!
Now on to who really matters and the reason most of you read this blog:Zoe. She has been sitting up all the time, for long periods of time. She prefers sitting to any other position. I can sit a pillow behind her just in case and she will sit for up to 30 minutes just looking around and reaching for her toys. She has been sleeping like crazy and therefore growing like crazy. She usually sleeps about 10 hours at night and takes a good 2 hour nap in the morning and afternoon and a short catnap in the evening. She is a little chunker and wearing 9 month clothes. She is still eating cereal every night and loves it. Last week I made and froze a ton of baby food; carrots, peas, bean, and squash. We maybe starting that soon, just a little one time a day. She has been a little more afraid of strangers lately. If she does not see me, Tony, Scott or Christina she usually gets a little scared. She still wants to be around many people, just so she can see one of us. She finally rolled over for the first time yesterday, but not really on purpose. She remains to absolutely hate being on her stomach, she freaks our immediately, which is probably why she hasn't rolled until this point, but I figure it will happen when it needs to happen.
Tony continues to enjoy his job. He has his biggest event of the year this Thursday, so he is busy at it. It if called the Davenport Derby, basically a group of students (whole dorms, wings, etc) pick a theme, dress up and decorate a couch to race. This is a very popular event on campus and from what I have heard is very entertaining. There are prized awarded for speed and another for spirit. Some teams enter with intentions of winning the spirit, while others are going for speed. I m excited to see it all play out.
Now on to the usual no news of my job situation. After contacting the charter school every day last week with no response I have lost all hope and come to decide I don't really want to work for someone who can't even return a call or e-mail. The principal of the christian school I am subbing at came to me last week and said she was proposing a part time position for me in the Middle School!! This would be fantastic. I would be teaching 3 of the first 4 periods of the day and then id a sub was needed in the afternoon I would get paid extra for that, but most days I would be free to leave after period four! The board still has not made a decision and the Principal is not sure when and if this will actually happen, but she is really pushing for it. So today I filled out the application for subbing in the public school. If the part-time job comes through before I get subbing then that would be great, but if it takes awhile or doesn't happen at all I need to stay busier until then.
OK, I think that is all for now. A few more picture have been added!
