Friday Tony decided he was sick of being in our apartment and wanted to go somewhere. He thought we should drive to Niagara Falls (4.5 hours away) in one day and drive back, I said not a good idea. So I suggested camping. We quickly found a camping site about 30 miles away and packed quicker than i thought possible and were on our way for Zoe's first camping adventure. We had a great spot right on the lake. We only stayed one night, but it was a nice little get away:) Zoe loved being outside all the time, but she is teething now so she has to be entertained constantly which is getting a little annoying. When we got back Saturday we went to babies'r'us to get her changing table that was finally in.
The apartment is really looking nice and I think we finally have everything put away or at least in a place for now. There is a new album of the apartment. The only thing left to do is paint Zoe's room. The baby blue on the walls isn't really working with her green and pink theme, but that is going to wait until my parents get here;)
I do not have a job yet. I had one great lead for a Spanish teaching position at the big Christian school in town. After a meeting with the principal and filling out an application things looked great, but I haven't heard anything in a few days, so I don't know where they are at. I have also applied to 6 different elementary and middle school jobs in the districts within about 25 miles, it is getting late, but jobs are still being posted so I am hopeful. If none of these work out I will be subbing. Which would be nicer to have less work at home and only work when I want therefore spending more time with Zoe, but the money is not great. We shall see, I know whatever happens must be for the best and God will take care of us:)
That is all for now. This is our last week of "freedom" Tony starts on the 3rd and it looks like we will not be seeing much of him once he gets going, so we are going to enjoy these last few days as a family.
