Zoe has been almost exclusively breast fed up to this point in her life. She has had a few bottles that I pumped once in a while. I will hopefully be going back to work soon, so we are trying to transition her to bottles and it is not happening at all. She just screams and screams and will not even close her mouth around the nipple. It is still my breast milk, so it's not like she is reacting to the formula. We tried a few different nipples and probably will continue to try others. I am wondering if any of you have other suggestions. I may have to be back to work in less than 2 weeks and she will have to eat with out me. This is so frustrating... help please.
I did have another interview on Tuesday and I felt like it went really well. Next Thursday I go back and have to teach a lesson for the principals and others so I am preparing for that!
Please leave a comment if you have any advice on the bottle situation

I feel really bad for the both of you!!!I never breast fed any of the 5 kids so don't have any advice for you--sorry.Zoe is such a good baby otherwise -----must be really hard to see and hear her cry over such a frustrating situation.I will pray about it and please let us know when you find answers.
My advice is to have Tony feed her with the bottle as much as he can. She knows what she can get from you, so she may take it from Daddy better. Hopefully this works for you.
Danielle,
It does work really well when another person feeds her. When EJ was a baby and i transitioned him, it helped when my mom did the bottle feedings some of the times. If you give in to her it makes the process longer, but less stressful for you. Poor Bode was just so hungry he was happy to see that bottle!!! Good luck and congratulations on the subbing position. We miss you guys!
