Doc's visit

We had another doctors appointment today, from now on we are at once a week, so exciting! We went over our birth plan with him and he okayed everything and was very positive and accommodating to what we wanted, so that was encouraging. We had an ultrasound and got a confirmation that yes, "She is a lady" as he put it (remember he doesn't speak Enlish:)Some news that I was not too excited about was the size of her head. Her femur and abdomen measured at 35 weeeks, perfect. But her head measured at 38 weeks, looks like she got the infamous Vander Woude head. I am sure she will have a beautiful large forehead like so many of her relatives:) He also said that the umbilical cord is very close to her neck. He was not concerned at this point, but told me to be very aware of her movements and if they become limited to let him know immediately. Overall it was a good visit and We are very happy with him and how open he is to our wants!
In other news, although nothing is as exciting as preparing for Zoe, Tony has had one interview for an RD position and we are (im)patiently waiting to hear back. He has applied a few other places and we will see where that leads us. I am putting the finishing touches on my resume so I will be fully prepared to apply once Tony has a job!
The 7th grade mom's threw a baby shower for me friday night. It was a great time, we played games, ate good food and they gave us some cash! Thanks ladies!

Our life is very exciting and crazy right now. Trying to plan for our first child in this unique third world country and trying to line up our life for the move back to the states can be a little overwhelming, but so exciting as the same time. We are just taking one day at a time and trying to enjoy every minute. I only have two weeks left of fully being in the classroom, and it is getting sad and the kids are sad too. As anxious as I am to be a mom and have that life, I LOVE teaching and I think it will be hard to even go a few months without my own classroom. This will be great motivation to find a job in the states!
Enough for now, time to eat!
