Hello everyone,
On Monday the 19th we had another appointment here in Xela. The doctor did not do another ultrasound, becuase he said that the dates and the report from the states sounded good, we did get a chance to sit down with him and ask him some of the logistical questions that we were having but all is well in the belly of Danielle.
This past Wednesday the 21st I took my class to a coffee farm so that we could talk about agriculture and also about the science behind growing plants. We had a really good time and each of my kids got the opportunity to plant trees of their own. We ended the trip by grilling burgers and hanging out. The trip was a success. My kids may have paid a little more attention to the fungai that they saw as opposed to the coffee, but either way it was a good time.
Today is Danielles birthday, and we had a really fun weekend. On Friday we met some friends at a local hangout. From there Danielle and I made our way to the most romantic spot in Xela, yes that's right we went to Pizza Hut. Danielle loves stuffed crust pizza, so that combined with the pregnancy made Pizza Hut the perfect and obvious choice. We stuffed ourselves there and then it was off to bed. On Saturday we just hung out around the house and capped it off with having some friends over to play games. Today we left at 9:00 in the morning to go to the coast. There is a resort about an hour from Xela and it is free to visit and use the restaurants. We went and spent all morning by the pool. I am absolutely FRIED! We then went to a mexican restaurant and had a meal there. We are home now but we are really tired.
For those of you waiting to hear about my experience on the canopy tour, I assure you it is coming, but I am waiting on some pictures yet.
