It is finally Friday and I am ready for break. We had a pretty usual, so busy week. Tony has started working our two mornings a week, so he gets up early, runs in the park, comes home to shower and then walks all the way to school. So far he is really enjoying it, hopefully it lasts awhile. We had our usual spanish lessons and bible study this week, which is great to get back into a routine. My Spanish lessons will soon be taking place in our apartment instead of at our teachers house, because it is just to far for me to walk after a long day of school. Last night we had a great night of eating a talking at a family from school's house. I have thier daughter in 6th grade and they are board members at school. They are Canadian but have lived in Guatemala as missionaries for years. It was great to spend an evening in a nice home and with great food!
This weekend we do not have alot planned, we do have a 7th grade birthday party to attend tonight, more free food! Sunday we are going to a Superbowl party that some other teachers are having. I am also hoping to get a week or so ahead on my school work so that when my friend Jessica visits next week I can spend time with her and not on school work. She arrives on Thursday the 5th and is staying through Tuesday. We are very excited for her visit. she will be here for an 8th grade bday party and my first baby shower put on by the other teachers. It will be great to have her here.
Have a great weekend!
