Life as usual

We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend. I acutally only left the house once on saturday and once on Sunday for a very minimal time. We got alot of cleaning done which is always nice. We are thinking at hiring a cleaning lady to come once a week to clean the whole apartment. I cannot clean as well as I would like and it seems we just don't have time. So for only Q40 (less than $5) a week we can get our whole apartment shining, well as clean as a building over 100 years old can get. So hopefully in the next few weeks we can get that lined up.
Nothing really special this week, it is the Dia Del Nino (Day of the Kid) wednesday and as important as children are in this culture, it is a very important day. The 6th grade class is bringing in lunch, the 8th grade class is having pizza delivered and the 7th grade class is having a party after school. It will be a fun day. We are disappointed that we cannot go to the 7th grade party after school as we have our monthly staff meeting on wednesday.
Other than that it is a normal week. I have really been enjoying Bible study this year. There are nine of us and we are meeting as one of the teachers houses. She is married to a Guatemalan and has a beautiful home. It is nice to meet in a home and be totally free of distractions. All the women have great ideas and different views, so good discussions are always at hand. We take turns bring snack and today I made a fruit pizza to share. Some of the ladies have never expereinced the joys of fruit pizza, so I hope all can enjoy!
My energy levels are definetly back to a more normal level, although I still get alot of sleep. I have been have major problems with certain smells. I feel like at anytime I can be gagging because of some smell. Brushing my teeth has also been a problem, which is really frustrating. Hopefully this will be ending soon.
Well, the bell is about to ring, so I need to head down the hill to the Middle School and start my day! Take Care
