We have had so many exciting events at school this semester and I think this week will top them all. This is spiritual emphasis week. That means that we have two all school chapels on Monday and Tuesday and then Wed-Fri the Middle and Highschool are off to a resort for the retreat. We have a group of four from Mississippi that are here to lead our games, praise and worship and all chapels. They are an amzing group and are doing wonderful with all age levels!
I am very excited to see our students in a differnt setting, a little more relaxed. The kids are very excited to have "outsiders" here to help us out. I know many of my students have heard about Jesus all thier lives, and may even be sick of it. But I am praying for an awakening or Revolution (the theme of the week) for my students. At the resort I will be staying in a room with 5 6th grade girls, I hope this is an oppurtunity for questions and sharing. Tony will be staying with the 4 senior boys who nobody else wanted because they are the trouble makers, so we will see how that plays out. Pleasae pray for open heart and minds and a revolutionary experience this week for our students and teachers!
GREAT NEWS: I feeling normal again. I still have a cold, but that has been around for a month and I am convinced it is never going to leave. But my stomach is great and I am now on day 5 of no problems! Thanks for all the concerned emails (espeically Grandma) but I am ok now. I promise I will go to the doctor if anything else happens!
SAD NEWS: The raining season has officially started. Actually as I type it is hailing- no idea. This means our rain coats are out again and we will forever be wet after 3:00pm.:(
That is all for now, I will hopefully have great things to post after the retreat!
PS: I hiked another moutain Saturday with two other ladies. I got some great pictures of Xela (right)

Great news that you are feeling better. Have an awesome time on the retreat. We missed you in Pella but had a great time at the shower. Vonda
See it helped that grandma was concerned about you but don't forget the prayers that were said in your behalf---we pray now for continued health for the both of you.Danielle all you need to do now is shake off that cold and things should be back to normal.Love GrandmaV W

p.s. It just dawned on me that in two months you will be home! YAY!!
I´m an IAS alumnus. I heard that the school had some trouble with the Ministry of Education or something like that. Do you have any idea what´s going on?
My prayers are with all of you.
