The good life continues

Well, there is not much of anything new to tell you all about. We have been busy at school, really getting into a routine and enjoying it. Our Spanish is continuing to improve, although slow. But we keep trying. This last weekend we spent Sunday in Santa Maria. This is a small town about a half hour bus ride away from Xela. This is the town where the director of IAS lives. He and his wife lead a few of us teacher on an amazing hike(pictures on our Shutterfly account). After the hike we spend most of the afternoon at their house eating, talking and just having a good time. It was really great to get out of Xela and spend some time in a home with friends, one of the things we miss most:(
The only other piece of news around here is that the English speaking church that we went to a few times is now closed. We are not sure what happened, but they are no longer meeting, so it looks like we will be going to a Spanish speaking church and only understanding a minimal amount. We are still confident it will be a good experience. That is all for now. Thanks again to all of you for your prayers and support. We have felt so blessed and needed here, it is very satisfying. Peace
