Deacon is a very happy little boy unless he is tired or hungry, both of which can quickly and easily be taken care of. Deacon is also fascinated with the camera which makes it difficult to get a good video of him. I finally was able to prop up the camera and capture some of his giggles.
Deacon has been sleeping about 8 - 10 hrs a night for the last couple weeks!! This happened right after we introduced him to veggies. He is now eating sweet potatoes and carrots. He loves them. I am hoping to make another big batch of sweet potatoes as well as peas in a couple weeks. He gets cereal with apple sauce twice a day and veggies once with plenty of milk in between that all. I feel like he eats a ton for a 5 month old, but he is happy and healthy!
Deacon is much more of a cuddled than Zoe ever was. Deacon loves just laying in my arms and playing with my face or talking to me. He also loves "kissing" (sucking on my cheek or chin).
Zoe loves to hug, kiss and play with her brother, but is often way too rough with him. We are constantly telling her to be gentle, he should be a tough boy by the time he starts moving on his. own.
I cannot believe he is almost half a year old already, this has gone way too fast and I am trying to soak up every minute with my little man.
