I just returned home from my second interview. This interview was a little different than usual in that I had to teach a full 40 minute lesson for both principals, the retiring Spanish teacher of 20 years and 5 students. I actually wasn't that nervous and I feel like it went well. I know there are 3 other applicants though so who knows. They said they will contact me Monday with their decision. So I am planning on enjoying the weekend and waiting until Monday. I figure even if I don't get the job I got my foot in a great school and can maybe do a little subbing there and it was good experience.
This is the Professional Football Hall of Fame week in Canton and things are busy. Saturday morning is the parade that we are planning on going to. The parade goes right by campus and therefore many of the streets are closed here most of Friday night and Saturday, so that could be interesting. My parents are also coming in on Saturday afternoon. We don't have alot of plans while they are here. I have a few projects for my dad to work on and we are going to paint Zoe's room. We would also like to go to Amish country for a day. Hopefully we don't get in an accident this time:) Tony will have to work everyday and who knows what my schedule will be, depending on what we hear Monday. My parents are planning on staying until Wed. or Thur. so I'm sure we will stay busy.
Zoe is doing ok. She is kinda turning into a demanding girl and wants to be held or entertained all the time, like this morning when I was getting ready for the interview-annoying. She is totally adjusted to the bottle. She now even goes between nursing and the bottle without a problem!
Here is another video of Zoe making noise in her chair:)
I will be sure to blog Monday when I hear something on the job.
