We had the first of our hopefully last few weekly doctor's appointments today. Nothing new to report, he said everything looks good and the most important thing is for me to stay calm and not stressed, which I think I am doing a pretty good job of. He said I seem very relaxed and like a calm person, so I guess I can thank my dad for that. He is still unsure if he is going to be in town for Samana Santa(6th-12th), so depending on when delivery is this could be an issue. We like our doctor and he isn't charging us anything, so we REALLY need him to be there for the delivery. We also visited the pediatrician that we chose. He is another father from school and is a great guy. He also speak English-bonus! I had a few questions for him about his procedures right after birth and the vaccination schedule here. He had nothing but great answers and the schedule is the same as the states, so Zoe should be right on schedule when we arrive in the states! He also may be gone for Semana Santa, but is willing to stick around a few days to wait for her!
I am so sick of this pregnant body. I feel like I cannot get comfortable at all, I am not sleeping well and the school day feel about 20 hours long. BUT...we are almost there and we are so excited to meet her.
There are plans for a 4th and now 8th grade baby shower after school thursday. This should be our last baby shower. We have had so many parties and have been well taken care of, it is great.
I am going to acutally cook a meal tonight so I should get going on that!
