Sorry for the delay of this post, but we have been busy and things have come up.
I will start with the most important news, and that is my health. We traveled to Mexico this weekend in order to renew our visas and be legal. It is about a 4-hour trip. I was a little worried before leaving because even a 10-minute ride in a bus has made me sick. The trip there went great. I felt great the whole time and we made it through the border with no problems of questions. It was unusually quick and easy. When we got to Tapachula we headed to the mall and movie theater for the afternoon. Then we went to a wonderful little Italian restaurant, which tasted great at the time, but as you will read was not worth it in the end. We got back to the hotel around 6 and relaxed for a few minutes before playing a few rounds of cards. I went to bed early and feeling great. Well….that did not last long. I woke up at some point in the middle of the night with a horrible sharp pain in my upper torso, almost in my rib cage. The pain came in waves, but I could not lay down at all without being miserable or not being bale to breath. So I spent most of the night awake, in the bathroom and in pain, it was miserable. I ‘got up’ at about 8 to the same pain and had to prepare for a 4 hour bus ride back. I told our business assistant (who is a mother) who was along about what I was feeling. As soon as we crossed the border and our phones worked again she called my doctor and he said that I probably have amoebas (tiny bug things) and gave me a prescription to take care of that, but not hurt the baby. We continue along, and I am still having pain, and all of the sudden I am rally nauseous, so I ask to pull the bus over and I continue to vomit for a few minutes and we are on our way again. The rest of the trip was not so bad, I didn’t fell great, but we made it. Once we got back to Xela we went and got the prescription and we went home and pretty mush slept the rest of the day. This morning I did not ride the bus to school but instead went to the private hospital to get my blood tested (I have had the order to do this since the last doctor’s appointment, I figured now was a goodtime), and for a poop and urine test to make sure we know exactly what is going on. My Spanish teacher (Nuelia) met me there just to make sure I knew what I was doing. It was a good thing she came because I would have been lost. Because I had to do this at the private hospital the price was quite a bit higher than we were expecting, but at least it will be done well…hopefully. So we will get the results tomorrow and I will let you all know. We are also going for our second doctors appointment either late this week or early next week. We are hoping to find out the sex of the baby!
There is not much other news. This is the last week of the first quarter of school already, I cannot believe how fast the year has gone so far. We are trying to plan our Thanksgiving vacation, but haven’t really gotten that far, which we need to have planned soon.
Last but definitely not least (right Deidra and Jody), a belly picture. It seems I have grown a lot in the last few weeks and some of my clothes are not fitting so well, so here is what I am looking like.
Results coming soon…

Hi Tony and Danielle,
So sorry to hear about your long, sick ride home. That had to have been miserable and scary all at the same time.
Let us know how everything all turns out. We'll be keeping you in our prayers.

Love,
