Meetings, that is about all these last few weeks of school will be, but at least time is going fast. This week we had our last staff meeting, which was actually a little emotional. The director of the school and his wife who has worked at school for 23 years are not returning next year. So it was emotion for them and they will be greatly missed. After the staff meeting there was PTA meeting that Tony and I choose to stay for. A 2 hour meeting in Spanish can be quite difficult, but we survived:)
This week the PTA is throwing a thank you dinner for the teachers Monday night. Wednesday we have field day at school in the afternoon, an all school competition! Thursday we have the honors banquet where I have to introduce my top homeroom students, it a pretty formal event, so we will be having a "fancy" night. Saturday we get to attend our first quincinera of a student. This is a girls 15th birthday party. These are huge celebrations here and it is a formal event, so I am in search of a formal dress to borrow for the night. We are really excited to attend such an exciting cultural event!
Last night we had a date night, as we do not spend alot of time with just the two of us. We saw a movie and went to Pizza Hut!!!! yum!! Today and Tomorrow I am hoping to finish all my finals as they are due this week. Only two weeks left of classes and then finals week!
Our summer seems to already be filled with weddings, reunions and camping, all of which we cannot wait for.

Hard to believe it has been a full school year already. The party sounds fun (maybe you should have packed some old prom dresses along :) Anyway - hope your weather there is better then it is here. Rain, rain, rain..... Love ya both, VOnda
