As hard as this is for me to admit, I am a little homesick, for the first time this year. There just seems to be so much happening back home that we are missing out on, especially in the next month. My sister Deidra and brother-in-law Jess are graduation, my cousin Jody is getting married and so many other things we are just missing, like church!! Lately everything about this culture that is any bit of an inconvenience has been annoying me and I just keep thinking "I would have to deal with this in the states" Ok enough of a sob story, we are still having fun here and only 5 weeks of school left!
We did absolutely nothing this weekend and it was wonderful. We got a ton of sleep! This week we only have 3 days of school and then we are off to Lake Atitlan, it is sooo beautiful.
We made the decision this week to move to a different apartment for next year. Two of the teacher that are leaving have a nice place right on Central park with two bedrooms and about 5 times more room than our place now! So we will be moving all our stuff in there the day before we leave for the summer. We are really looking forward to being in a better location, not a 30 minute walk to get anywhere and also being able to entertain and actually have people over! We will also have plenty of room for visitors. (hint hint)
One more note: We realized this week that we picked the perfect winter to move away, I cannot believe all the snow and cold you have had back home, we are not missing that. In fact I laid on the roof for 1 hour this morning and got burnt!!
That's all for now, and probably a while, I will post pictures after our little trip next weekend!

I am not happy to hear that you are homesick - but it is nice to know we are missed :) I can't believe you guys actually stayed home for a weekend. It seems you are always on one adventure or another. How exciting on the new/larger apartment. Well, that is all from Sioux Falls. Vonda
Hey,
Well, we all miss you a lot too! It will be strange with you not being at Deidra's and Jess' graduations and Jody's wedding, but I will try to take many pictures so you can experience the events through me(you know how good I am about taking pics, but I will try). Have a great short week of school and a wonderful little vacation! Love you both!
