We made it! The flights went ok, nearly missed our flight in Minneapolis. They say you need to be to the airport 2 hours before your flight, but Delta only opens their ticketing at 4:15 that is not a lot of time when your flight leaves at 5:30. It is even less time when your wife gets pulled aside for a further screening. Whatever Danielle was the last one on the plane and the rest of our flights went well and we got back to Guatemala City on time. Unfortunately it is a 4 hour bus ride. Due to construction and poor driving it turned into a 5 and and half hour trip. We arrived in Xela at about 8:30 so that was ok. Guatemala has not changed a bit in fact within 1 hour of being home we had lost electricity, within 12 hours we had felt an earthquake. Guatemala sure had a way of welcoming us back!
P.S.- The earthquake was the largest one we have felt, but it's not like it shook anything off the walls. It's good to be back and we had a great time on vacation. We love you all!
