A great week, that I would like to share with you all:)

I have just been feeling really blessed and fulfilled in our time here and this week has been especially great, I am finding joy in the simple things, so here they are.

Monday: good day of school, got alot done. Monday after school, one of the missionary families invited all the teachers over for a time of fellowship and information. They had invited different churches and organizations to share with us what they are doing in Xela to share the name of Jesus and how we could get involved. It was very interesting and encouraging to hear all the great things happening. We are unsure if you are going to seriously get involved with any of these organization yet

Tuesday: Nothing great, but we did break our first seat on a Microbus. Nobody knows, and proably won't for a while, because almost all seat are broken. The seat we were onwas definetly in good shape, until we went over a few tumolos (speed bumps) with fat gringos ion it. The funny thing is Tony had just told the lady we were smashed agianst "Soy muy gordo" ( I am really fat) We both got a good laugh out of this. On a differnt note, when we got home from school our fridge was not working and we had alot of not cold food

Wednesday: The fridge works!! and we didn't lose any food. I had Bible study tonight and was greatly blessed and encouraged by the other ladies. We all made a spritual goal for the year, and mine is to read the entire bible in the next year. So I have found a schedule and am on my way! My bible study is going to hold each-other accountable in our goals, so the girls will be there to help me along:)

Thursday: Tony had elementary chapel, He did it on the fruits of the Spirit, played some games, and asked questions about what they mean. I think it went well, ALL elementary kids just LOVE Mr. Schnyders:)

This weekend we have a wonderful oppurtunitiy to get a tour of a ruuber tree farm. The director along with his coffee farm has a rubber farm. We really have no idea how this all works, so it should be interesting. There are alot of us teachers going, i'm sure it will be an entertaining weekend! I will post pictures when we return!

Have a great weekend!

Hey,
Good to hear you guys had a good week. What was wrong with the fridge? Danielle, I hope you can reach your goal of reading the Bible, that should be a good challenge. How is the Spanish coming? At least Tony knows how to say, "soy muy gordo." Have fun at the rubber tree farm! It sounds really interesting! Love and miss you both!
